Tippmann Paintball Guns Releases the Innovative TPX
ҠThe TPX virtually eliminates the need to modify it. In the past, pistols were often modified, rendering warranties null and void. Such modifications include cutting new ammo windows in them or adding rails so they can accommodate additions like laser sites and flashlights.
Ҡ
Tippmann has apparently seen the writing on the wall. The TPX has several ammo windows on it, enabling you to count your ammo. It also comes factory stock with rails so you can add sites, scopes and flashlights without modifying it.
Ҡ
All well and good, but do they sacrifice the quality in other areas for these features? The answer is no. Field tests have shown that no accuracy is lost for its design. There is no wasted CO2 because of the cartridge"s location under the barrel. In fact, there is nothing about the TPX that isn"t an improvement over pre-existing paintball pistols.
Ҡ
Because the CO2 cartridge is under the barrel, the grip is not nearly as large as the in magazine models. The barrel is A5 and X7 compatible, which means that many aftermarket barrels are compatible. So, yes, you can have a silencer on it, too, without much tinkering.
Ҡ
About the only reason you might not like this gun is if you"re a loyal metal gun user. However, that does show another advantage of the TPX. It"s a lighter gun, which gives you an edge in the quick draw situations over the metal guns.
Ҡ
With that said, go out and get you one before they"re sold out!
