Making Beeswax Candles

1. Fold a sheet of beeswax in half and flatten it along the fold with your hands 2. Cut the sheet in half with your scissors 3. Lay a piece of beeswax on a flat and clean surface. 4. Place the wick on the edge of the beeswax. The wick should extend past both sides of the piece of beeswax. 5. Slowly and carefully start to roll the piece of beeswax over the wick 6. Make sure to tuck the edge of the beeswax in and around the wick to seal it. 7. Roll until you get to about two inches to the end. 8. Once you get about two inches from the end, you"ll want to slow down and roll tightly. Once you get to the end, you can use your body heat to soften the edge and press down and seal the candle. Don"t press too hard or you"ll crack the candle. 9. After rolling, trim the wick at one end so it is flush with the base of the candle. Trim the wick on the other end to about a quarter inch long.
